Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Kiwi Pharmacy & Wellness and Kiwi Medical & Aesthetics handle personal information collected through this public website. Separate clinical, prescription, booking and purchase systems may have their own privacy notices.
What the website collects
For general requests, we collect your name, phone number or email address, the general type of help you want and an optional preferred day or time. A prescription-transfer request also collects your birthday, preferred contact method, and the name and phone number of your previous pharmacy so Kiwi can identify and begin the transfer. A professional portal request collects professional designation and may collect a college or licence number.
The website is not designed to collect symptoms, diagnoses, medication names, prescription numbers, medical photographs or health records. Like most websites, hosting and security systems may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and protect the site.
Why we use it
We use request information to respond, direct you to the right Kiwi team and arrange the appropriate next step. Technical information may be used to operate, secure and improve the website. We do not sell personal information.
Website performance
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure loading speed and responsiveness on selected public information pages. This does not record form entries. Booking, contact, prescription-transfer, shopping, account and staff pages are excluded, and query strings and URL fragments are not included in performance events.
Optional analytics cookies
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand visits to selected general information pages. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Google may then process cookie identifiers, page visits and technical information about your browser and device under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use this connection for advertising personalization.
Booking, contact, prescription-transfer, product, service, account and staff pages are excluded. We do not send form contents, query strings or URL fragments through this connection. You can decline without losing website functionality, or withdraw future analytics collection using Cookie settings on general information pages. Your cookie preference is stored in your browser.
How website requests are handled
A website request is stored in an access-controlled Kiwi request queue so an authorized administrator can track whether it is new, contacted or closed. A notification may also be sent to a designated Kiwi inbox when that connection is enabled. Clinical details collected during follow-up belong in the appropriate pharmacy, booking or clinical system, not in this website queue.
Other services
MangoMint handles medical and aesthetics booking. Sanity provides the public content editor. If online shopping is enabled, Shopify will handle products, orders and checkout. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Opening maps, email or another linked service also takes you to that provider.
Google Maps and reviews
Embedded maps are provided by Google. When connected, the review section displays public Google Maps reviews and reviewer attribution. Loading a map or reviewer image, or following a Google link, connects your browser to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy. We do not store Google review content in our website request queue or public content editor.
Safeguards and retention
Kiwi uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Personal information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, and as required for legal, regulatory or clinical recordkeeping obligations. Authorized administrators can permanently delete closed website requests when the website record is no longer needed. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and access rights
You may ask about the personal information Kiwi holds about you, request access or correction, or withdraw consent where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legal, regulatory or care-related reasons.
Contact Kiwi about privacy
For a website or general privacy question, email pharmacy@kiwihealth.ca or call 778-940-1950. Do not send sensitive health information by general email. You may also learn about private-sector privacy rights from the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
