THE KIWI APPROACH
A weekend away, a family holiday and a longer trip can raise different health questions.
Your itinerary matters. Our pharmacist looks at where you are going, how you’ll be travelling and what you already have covered.
Open a topic to read more.
The discussion includes destination-specific vaccine recommendations, routine immunizations, prevention strategies and the travel-health supplies worth packing. Advice is based on your trip, not a standard list for every traveller.
Bring travel dates, destinations, planned activities and any vaccination records you have.
If you are travelling as a family, ask the team how to arrange the right appointments.
Bring medication and health-history information to the appointment.
Some vaccines need time or more than one dose. Book early where you can.
If departure is close, call and ask what can still be arranged. The team will confirm appointment and vaccine availability rather than assume everything is on hand.
Ask what needs to happen before departure, what to bring with you and whether another appointment is needed. Confirm consultation and vaccine costs with the pharmacy before your visit.
Call the pharmacy at 778-940-1950 before your visit to confirm vaccine availability and arrange an appointment.
Aim for about six weeks before you leave. Some vaccines need time or more than one dose. If your trip is sooner, it is still worth booking; the pharmacist can explain what can be arranged before departure.
Routine vaccinations are one part of travel preparation. Your destination, activities and health history may raise different vaccine or prevention questions.
Bring the travel dates, destinations and planned activities. The pharmacy can explain how to arrange the appropriate consultations for the people travelling.
Book online and choose Travel Consultation, or call the pharmacy at 778-940-1950. Bring your itinerary and vaccination record so the pharmacist can review your trip with you.
A travel consultation is $50 CAD. Pay in person at your appointment. No payment is taken online. Ask the pharmacy about any vaccine or medication costs before proceeding.

Check destination requirements and vaccine availability before you go.
