THE KIWI APPROACH

Microneedling uses fine needles to create small, controlled punctures in the skin.

Kiwi’s service uses COSMOPen. Start by discussing your skin and what you want to change, then decide whether the treatment is appropriate for you.

What it is designed to do

Microneedling works with the skin’s repair response. People commonly ask about texture, fine lines and the appearance of acne scars.

Suitability depends on the skin, the area and the concern. It is not the same as a laser treatment, and results vary.

Before the appointment

Bring your current skincare routine and tell your clinician privately about medicines, previous procedures and skin reactions. Ask which products to pause and how to prepare.

Do not stop a prescribed medicine on the basis of a website checklist.

During the visit

  1. Your provider explains the proposed treatment, comfort measures and consent before starting.

  2. Ask about the device, the preparation and what you may feel.

  3. You should have time to understand the plan before agreeing to it.

Recovery and aftercare

Redness, tightness and sensitivity can happen afterwards. Infection and changes in pigmentation are also possible.

Get individual instructions for cleansing, skincare, sun exposure and when to resume your routine. Ask who to contact if healing does not seem right.

One session or a series?

Your clinician discusses the number and spacing of appointments after assessment. Changes develop over time, and further treatment may be considered.

We do not promise a fixed result or a no-downtime recovery.

Keep home care simple

The clinic and pharmacy can help you understand which parts of your routine fit the plan. Kiwi Skincare is prepared by our pharmacy; ALASTIN is a separate retail range.

Products are not automatically suitable for freshly treated skin.

Questions before you book?

Is microneedling suitable for my skin?

Suitability is assessed during consultation. Discuss your skin concerns, current routine and medical history privately with your provider.

How many sessions will I need?

Your clinician discusses the number and spacing of sessions based on your goals and assessment. A series is not the same for everyone.

What about preparation and aftercare?

Ask your provider for instructions specific to your plan, including skincare use, sun exposure and when to resume your usual routine.
