Adults (18 and over) – For sleep aids, take 1-2 capsules once a day, at or before bedtime or as directed by a qualified health practitioner. For jet lag, take 1-2 capsules once a day at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling, and at destination until adaptation to the new daily pattern. Do not blend, mix or crush capsules. Swallow capsules whole. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 weeks. Do not exceed daily dose unless instructed by a healthcare practitioner.

Allergens: This product contains corn allergens. Do not use if • you are driving or use machinery for 5 hours after taking Ortho-Sleep • pregnant, nursing or trying to conceive • you have scleroderma • under the age of 18 or have a medical condition • you are taking antidepressants • you are taking antidepressants. Ask a health care practitioner before use if • you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or kidney disease, seizure disorder, asthma or diabetes • you are taking carbidopa or health products with serotonergic activity such as mood balance supplements, cough medication containing dextromethorphan, pain killers or medications for nausea or migraine • you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system, to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners. Ask a healthcare practitioner if • sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia) • symptoms persist or worsen. When using this product • exercise caution while driving or using machinery, as you may experience drowsiness • you may experience gastrointestinal discomfort/disturbances • avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if you experience skin hardening, pain or stiffness of muscles or joints, tremors, agitation/confusion, or an increased heart rate. Stop use if • hypersensitivity/allergy occurs • you experience headache, confusion, or nausea.
